CFA - EXAM COACHING
CFA Level IIRead the vignette. Find the answer.
One-to-one CFA Level II coaching built around official item sets, vignette reading, error diagnosis, and real-world application.
Vignettes, not formulas.
Level II tests whether you can apply the curriculum inside a page of case text. We train you to find what each question is really asking, then prove it on real data.

The Finance in Practice method
Every topic goes through four stages.
- 01
Learn
Each topic starts with the format that suits the candidate: independent study, tutor-led teaching, or a mix.
- 02
Solve
Official curriculum item sets are worked through in session. The candidate explains which vignette detail drove each answer, and the cause of each error is identified: reading, concept, formula, calculation, or timing.
- 03
Apply
Each topic ends with a short practical task, such as a spreadsheet, company report, bond-pricing exercise, or investment decision.
- 04
Revise
Short, spaced reviews revisit earlier topics through recall quizzes, retried errors, and mixed question sets.
three ways to learn
Self-study
Candidate studies the curriculum independently. Sessions focus on questions and weak areas.
Tutor-led
The tutor teaches the topic live, followed immediately by question work.
Hybrid
Candidate reads first. The tutor teaches only the sections that remain unclear.

FAQ
Questions, answered.
How is Level II different from Level I?
Level I tests whether you know the curriculum. Level II tests whether you can apply it: every question sits inside a vignette, and the marks go to candidates who find the decisive detail quickly. Coaching focuses on that reading skill as much as on the finance.
Are sessions in person or online?
Both. Sessions are held in person in Abu Dhabi, or live online for candidates in Dubai, elsewhere in the UAE and abroad. Online sessions use a shared screen and whiteboard, so the question work is the same either way. The format can be mixed from week to week.
Can the tutor teach topics, or is it only item-set practice?
Both are available. Each topic can be studied independently, taught live by the tutor, or handled as a hybrid where the candidate reads first and the tutor covers only the unclear parts. The format can change from one topic to the next.
Is the CFA Institute curriculum still needed?
Yes. Registered candidates access the curriculum, item sets and mock exams through the CFA Institute Learning Ecosystem. Sessions are built around that material, not around separate notes. Finance in Practice is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by CFA Institute.
Can coaching start at any time, and how are sessions priced?
Coaching can begin on request, with no fixed cohort start date. Sessions can be booked singly, monthly, or as exam-season support. Fees are discussed after the free Strategy Session, because the scope depends on the candidate’s needs.
Does coaching guarantee a pass?
No. Results depend on the candidate’s preparation and effort. Coaching improves the quality of practice by finding the cause of each error and a clear next step.
Is this for you?
Designed for committed CFA Level II candidates who attempt official item sets before each session and want to know exactly why they lose marks. Not a re-teach of Level I, and no pass is guaranteed.
